Located in the province of Namur, the Château de Corroy is one of Wallonia’s exceptional listed buildings. The building is the most complete and important 13th-century witness in the Low Countries (now Belgium and the Netherlands). Built around 1270 by Count Philippe de Vianden and considered as a lowland castle, the castle of Corroy-le-Château is one of the most beautiful examples of medieval princely architecture in Wallonia.
In 2017, COLEN was commissioned with the restoration of its gatehouse, barbican, and the entire roof. The work to be performed included dismantling work, restoration of masonry, stonework and woodwork, as well as of the facades.
