Founded in 1967, COUTISSE & COLEN specialized in general woodwork. This craft activity allowed in 1971 to merge with ENTREPRISES GENERALES LEFEVRE, specialists in art work mainly oriented in the restoration of classified monuments such as the Grand Beguinage of Louvain.

Over the years, COLEN SA has completed its experience in the restoration of classified sites to become a construction company specializing in building restoration, marbling, stone cutting and carpentry.

COLEN SA was fully integrated by SOCATRA in 2021 and became its Heritage Restoration division.

Thanks to the expertise of our skilled carpenters and stonemasons, we offer our partners versatile knowledge in the field of renovation and heritage restoration, enabling our division to work efficiently and effectively.

Our “Heritage Restoration” division boasts numerous notable projects, such as the Biéreau Farm in Louvain-la-Neuve, Corroy-le-Château Castle, Leroy Frères Gallery in Liège, Vaartkom in Leuven, Maison Hannon in Brussels, and many more. Feel free to view our references by clicking here.
